The Notes panel displays document and page notes. It is available in the Scan, Quality Control, Validation, and Verification modules. You can use it as an alternative to the Status Bar when viewing long notes. To view or hide the Notes panel, on the View tab, in the Panels group, select or clear the Notes check box.

You also can update the note text. Once you update the text, view it from the status bar or the Properties window for the document or page. Likewise, when you update the note text from the document or page Properties window, the changes are reflected in the status bar or the Notes panel.

You have the option of viewing or hiding the Notes panel. If it is hidden, the notations display in the status bar. By default, the Notes panel is hidden from view in each module except Quality Control.

You can change the note text in the panel by typing it and clicking Update Note.
