The Kofax Capture Separator Sheet Utility is used to define and print separator sheets for documents.

The separator sheets contain patch codes to separate the documents and an option that encodes the name of the form type. During processing, Kofax Capture recognizes the separator sheet, reads the bar code, and identifies the form accordingly.

With the Separator Sheet Utility, you can do the following:

• Create batch separator sheets, which are used when you enable Unattended Mode in the Scan module
• Create document separator sheets
• Print separator sheets (when using document separator sheets with multiple form types, you can print a separator sheet for each type)

The Separator Sheet Utility is available only to published or validated batch classes for which patch codes are defined as the document separation method in the Administration module.
