Zoom Options

You can zoom or scale the display of images by selecting a zoom option. The image in the view window is resized accordingly. Only the Validation and Verification modules have the Retain Zoom option.

Page Height

Page Width

Pan Mode

The following zoom options are supported in most modules with an image viewer, with slight variations among the modules.

Magnify Zone

Provides a view of the active zone, so that it is displayed in the center of the viewer. The page is scaled so that the entire zone fills the width of the viewer. You can select preferences for displaying a magnified zone in the image viewer.

Anchor Zone

Provides a view of the active zone so that it is anchored in the upper left corner of the viewer. The page is scaled so that the entire zone fills the width of the viewer.

Pan to Zone

Scrolls the page so the active zone is displayed in the viewer. The zone is not centered or anchored in a set position. The scale of the page does not change and the entire zone may not fit in the viewer.

Manual Zoom

Changes the cursor to a magnifying glass, and you can zoom to an area of the page. Just drag a rectangle around the area to zoom. The scale of the page changes based on the selected area.

Retain Zoom

Retains your pan and zoom settings while switching pages or documents, or opening and closing batches. Note that once you enable the Retain Zoom option, the retained settings are applied to all pages, documents, batches, and sessions. It is not possible to retain a different setting for each page.
