Use the Kofax Capture Import Connector - Email - Configuration window to set administrator or sender notification preferences, and the maximum number of emails per batch.

Administrator email

Specify an email account for the administrator with 256 characters, or fewer. The email account must be in the following format: name@domain. You can easily customize the content of the email notification.

Notify sender in case of import error

Select this option to send an email to the sender if an email has not been successfully imported into Kofax Capture.

Notify administrator in case of error

Select this option to send an email to the administrator if an email has not been successfully imported into Kofax Capture, or in case of some other errors.

IP address/Host name

Specify the DNS name or IP address of the mail server you want to use for outgoing email. This field can have a value of 256 characters, or fewer.

Port number

Specify the port number used to connect to the mail server. This field must have a numeric value of 8 characters, or fewer.

Mail server requires authentication

Select if the outgoing mail server requires authentication.

Account name

Specify an existing account name that can be used with the outgoing mail server. The account name must be 256 characters or fewer, and it must be the same as the email account name specified for the administrator above.

Password

Specify the password for the account. The password is limited to 256 characters, or fewer.

Use Secure Connection (SSL)

Select this option if you want to use SSL security protocol when connecting to the mail server.

Maximum number of emails per batch

Specify the maximum number of emails to be imported into a single batch. If the number of emails in the current mailbox exceeds this limit, the remainder are imported into the next batch. The default limit is 100 emails per batch. You may specify a number from 1 to 1000.

OK button

Click to close the window and save your settings.

Cancel button

Click to close the window and discard any changes you have made to the settings. All settings revert to their state when the window was opened.
