The Batch Contents panel is used to display the contents of a batch using a typical tree structure. If the panel is not visible, you can display it. On the View tab, in the Panels group, select or clear the Batch Contents check box.

The Batch Contents panel is available in the following Kofax Capture modules:

• Scan

• Quality Control

• Validation

• Verification

The Batch Contents panel provides a convenient way to view the contents and organization of a batch. The panel can display the contents as either thumbnails or icons. Depending on the size and complexity of your batches, you may notice a slight delay while Kofax Capture generates thumbnail images of your pages.

Your selection in the Batch Contents panel affects which options are available on the main screen of the module. For example, if a page is selected, it appears in the viewer.

Right-click any item in the Batch Contents panel to display a context menu. The menu includes settings for the selected item.

Batch Contents Panel Default Settings

The default settings for the panel are as follows:

• Scan and Quality Control modules: Display thumbnails in the Batch Contents panel by default.

• Validation and Verification modules: Do not display the Batch Contents panel by default.

Tree View Controls

The Batch Contents panel displays the contents of a batch using a tree view. As with all tree views in Kofax Capture, you can expand or collapse the tree by clicking a plus or minus sign as well as double-clicking a thumbnail or icon.

The batch (root) node of the tree has no plus or minus sign. To collapse or expand the root node, double-click the thumbnail or icon.

Note Use the F5 key to refresh the entire tree. After refreshing, the tree appears with the batch node expanded and the document nodes collapsed.
