Database Utility - Batch Information Editor Tab

You use this tab to view batches in the Kofax Capture system and override the export directory settings. Your changes impact the selected batches only: they have no effect on the batch classes or other batches in the system. You cannot edit batches that are currently in progress at any module.

You cannot change the export properties for batches stored in SQL Server, Oracle, or IBM DB2. In this case, the Batch Information Editor tab are not available.

Note Batches are only stored in SQL Server if SQL Server is selected as the central database and the Store Batches in SQL Server option is selected on the Database tab.

Batch Name

Lists the names of the batches in the system.

Batch class

Lists the batch classes associated with the respective batches.

Queue

Lists the current queues associated with the respective batches.

Status

Lists the statuses associated with the respective batches. All possible statuses are displayed (Completed, Ready, In Progress, Suspended, Error, and Reserved); however, you cannot edit batches if the status is In Progress.

You cannot change the status of a batch from this tab.

Edit button
Click to display the Batch Information Editor – Edit window, from which you can override the export folders.

Total Items

Lists the quantity of batches listed in the window.
