Deskewing an Image Automatically
Use Auto Deskew to automatically straighten images that are crooked when they scan. Kofax VRS performs the deskew by detecting the image edges or the image content.
- On the Image Quality tab, in the Page Adjustments group, click Auto Deskew.

Click the arrow next to
Auto Deskew, and then click one or both of the
following:

Edges: Straightens image by detecting the edges.

Content: Straightens image by detecting the content.
Note If you select both Edges and Content, and the Edges deskew method is not successful, the Content method is attempted. -
- Adjust other settings or start scanning.
