Applying Line Weight Settings
Use the Line Weight settings to adjust the thickness of lines and text on black and white images.
- Scan a test black and white image and open the VRS Interactive Viewer.
- On the Image Quality tab, in the Black & White group, click Line Weight.

Do one of the following:

For lines and text that are ballooned together, move the slider toward Thin to improve legibility.

For lines and text that do not require adjustment, move the slider to the Normal setting.

For lines and text that are too thin or too light, move the slider toward Thick to improve legibility.

Click in the Line Weight box and enter a value.

- Adjust other settings or start scanning.
