If you need to process documents that have additional pages or attachments, you specify this in the Pages settings of the Scan job description. The additional pages or attachments are called appendices in Kofax ReadSoft Entrance.

Kofax ReadSoft Entrance does not identify appendices and does not process data on them, but Kofax ReadSoft Entrance does save them in image files along with the document images. The maximum number of appendices allowed is 999.

When you run the job, you must insert a blank sheet of paper after every complete document (a document, or a document plus appendices) so that Kofax ReadSoft Entrance can identify where each new document starts.

To include two-sided appendices, select Two-sided in the Scanner settings dialog when you create your scanner description.
