Change the name of the document type that is displayed in the PDF image for XML invoices/documents

Using this procedure changes the name of the document type that is displayed in the PDF image that is generated for all XML documents that are processed for the XML invoice profile in which the change is made.

Using the Manager module, select Plugins > XML Maintenance.

  1. Click the XML invoice profiles tab, right-click the profile that you want to change the document type for, and select Edit XML profile settings.
  2. In the General tab of the dialog that is displayed, in the Document type box, type the name (like Sales order, for example) that you want displayed in the document (in place of Invoice, which is the default if nothing is specified here). As an alternative since this applies to all XML invoices/documents that are processed with the selected XML invoice profile, you may want to right-click the XML invoice profile that applies and select Save as new XML profile instead to create a new one just for this document type.
  3. Click OK.
