The Optimize module: An overview
The Optimize module is not used in everyday production. Unlike the production modules, which process documents, you use Optimize to optimize document definitions. The purpose of Optimize is to speed production by improving interpretation and identification.
When to use Optimize
Optimize is used the most when Kofax ReadSoft Entrance is being set up for the first time. During this time, all incoming documents are new to the system. Some documents cannot be automatically interpreted, so you use Optimize to adjust the document definitions associated with the senders that the documents were received from.
Even automatically learned documents can be optimized for even better production performance. Occurrences of low or inconsistent identification rates can also be managed with Optimize. Check the statistics to determine which document definitions need to be optimized.
