Learn fields where title occurrence sets value

Use the below procedure to learn a single item field that indicates if a title text is on the document (an on/off field).

Note There are separate instructions for learning the Debit/Credit field.
  1. Select the field in the Data objects box.
    • The Field learning dialog is displayed. If Kofax ReadSoft Entrance found the field on the document, the field is highlighted on the document definition image.
    • Only the field title is highlighted.
    • You cannot draw or change the field value. Kofax ReadSoft Entrance sets it to 0 or 1.
    • There is never more than one field proposal for this kind of field.
  2. Check and, if necessary, correct the field title. If the title is on the document, the field value must be 1.
    • If the correct title is highlighted on the document definition image, but the interpreted title is incorrect, you may need to change the text type or apply a background filter.
    • If the wrong title field is highlighted on the document definition image, redraw the field on the document definition image.
  3. Check and, if necessary, correct the remaining field settings. Note: You cannot adjust the Optional and format specification settings.
  4. Click OK (in the Field learning dialog) to learn the field.
