How to get online help
Access Help
F1
The easiest way to access Help is to press F1 on your keyboard. You can do this at any time while you are using the program. The topic most closely related to whatever you are doing is displayed.
Note In some cases F1 displays an overview topic, and you
must look for the desired information using the Contents, Index, or Search tab.
The Help menu
Each of the Kofax ReadSoft Entrance modules has a Help menu. Choose Help topics to open the Help system.
Get around in Help
There are several ways to find information in Help.

| Contents | Use the contents to browse information by selecting a topic in a chapter. The books that are displayed are chapters. Each chapter has Help topics in it. | |
| Search | Search for all topics that contain the word(s) you type. Use quotation marks around a phrase to match an exact phrase. |
Typographical conventions in Kofax ReadSoft Entrance Help
These conventions are used:
| Bold | Names of commands, settings, and dialogs that appear in the Kofax ReadSoft Entrance Graphical User Interface. |
| Courier New | Names of files and folders. Code samples. |
| Italics | Titles of documents or help files. Names of variables that you must replace with your own values. |
