Delete XML invoices, definitions, and profiles from the system

Processed XML invoices are normally deleted from the system in the same way as any other invoices. However, if you need to remove them from the system entirely, including the XML invoice definitions and profiles, a few additional steps are required, because some of the information is stored in the Collector database and some is stored in the Kofax ReadSoft Entrance database.

Use this procedure

  1. Delete XML invoices from the Kofax ReadSoft Entrance database in one of these ways:
  2. Delete the XML invoice(s) from the XML Maintenance dialog.
  3. Delete the XML definition(s) from the XML Maintenance dialog.
  4. Delete XML invoice profiles from the XML Maintenance dialog.
  5. Delete the XML definition(s) from the Kofax ReadSoft Entrance database.
Note Be careful to follow the order of the steps in this topic exactly when completely removing XML invoices and document definitions from the system. If the XML invoice definitions from processed invoices are deleted from the Kofax ReadSoft Entrance database before they are deleted from the XML Maintenance dialog (by clearing the Kofax ReadSoft Entrance database of the associated document profile or document definition, for example), you will not be able to delete them from the XML Maintenance dialog (that is, the information stored in the Collector database).
