Set endorser counter values in a Scan job description

Use the Scan job description to define the endorser counter values, if a database counter is not used.

  1. Open the Scan job description.
  2. In the Scan job description dialog, select Endorser settings.
  3. Select Manual or Auto.
  4. In the Start value box, type the number to be endorsed on the first document processed by the job. The Start value must not exceed 17 digits.
  5. In the Quantity box, type the number of documents to be scanned and endorsed. Any number between 1 and 99999 is valid. When this number of documents is reached, Kofax ReadSoft Entrance stops the scanner and informs the operator.

Example

If you set Start value to 20000 and Quantity to 999, the endorser endorses 20000, 20001, and so on until 20998 is endorsed. Then Kofax ReadSoft Entrance stops the scanner.
