Exporting a Batch

Batches are exported to the location and format you specify on the Job Setup tab.

If you are using the Kofax Express Export application or the Export Service, see Exporting a Batch Automatically.

By default, batches are deleted after they are exported. If you prefer to retain a copy of exported batches, clear the "Delete batch after export" check box on the Job Setup tab.

  1. On the Job Setup tab, in the Export group, select an export connector from the Connector list.
  2. Click the setup tool to open the applicable setup window.
  3. Set your preferences in the export setup window, and click OK.
  4. On the Job Setup tab, in the Export group, select the "Delete first page" check box if you want the first page of each document to be removed automatically. Use this setting to discard bar code separation pages, or other document separation pages.

    For some export connectors, "Delete first page" is not available. In this case, use the "Skip first page of each document" setting on the export connector setup window to achieve the same result.

  5. On the Batches panel, click the batch you want to export.
  6. Do one of the following:
    • On the Batches panel, right-click and select Start Export.

    • On the Home tab, in the Export group, click Export Batch.

  7. When prompted to confirm the export, click Yes.

    The progress of the export operation appears in the Status column on the Batches panel.
