Creating a New Scan Profile

A new scan profile is based on the current settings in the predefined Default profile.

Use the following procedure to create a new scan profile:

  1. Adjust the settings on the Scan Settings tab to suit your preferences.
  2. On the Scan Profile toolbar, click New Profile.

    The New Scan Profile window appears.

  3. In the New Scan Profile window, in the Scan Profile Name field, type a name for the new profile. Use alphanumeric characters and avoid invalid characters.
  4. Click OK.

    Your settings are saved to the new profile, which becomes the active scan profile.
