Saving a Copy of a Job

Use this procedure to save a copy of the current job under a new name. This procedure is useful if you want to base a new job on the settings that exist in the current job.

To save the current job settings as a template that can be reused for future jobs, see Creating a Job Template.

  1. On the Kofax Express menu, point to Save, and then click Save Job As.

    The Save Job As window appears.

  2. On the Save Job As window, in the "Job name" box, accept the default job name or type a new name.

    By default, the prefix "Copy of" is applied to the original job name.

  3. Click Save.

    The newly created job becomes active and inherits the settings from the job it was based on.

  4. Customize the new job settings to suit your preferences.
