Scanning a Batch

Before scanning an entire batch, you are encouraged to scan a test page to preview the results of the current image quality settings. If you adjust the settings, they are saved for use with future images; they are not applied permanently to the preview image.

Use the procedure below to scan documents from a scanner. If you plan to import images from a folder on your computer, see Using FolderScan.

  1. Confirm that you have successfully completed the scanner selection process.
  2. Stack your documents in the scanner and verify that it is powered on.
  3. On the Home tab, in the Scan group, do one of the following:
    • Click Scan One to scan a single page.

    • Click Scan All to scan all the pages in the scanner. Click Stop if you need to stop the scanning process before all pages are scanned.

If a batch does not yet exist, a new batch containing a new document is automatically created as soon as you start scanning.
