Exporting a Batch Automatically

In a multiuser environment, the Kofax Express Export application is set by default to export batches automatically. As another option, you can use the Export Service to export batches automatically on an unattended workstation. For details, see the Kofax Express Installation Guide.

Background export is not supported while Auto Export is active.

As soon as a batch is ready for export, it is routed to the Kofax Express Export workstation for automatic processing. While the batch export is in progress, the status appears on the screen. You can click Auto Export at any time to stop the export process.

  1. Start the Kofax Express Export application.
  2. Scan and index a batch of documents.

    The batch state changes to "Export" and the batch is automatically routed to the Export workstation for processing.

  3. If a problem occurs during processing, on the Exporting Batch progress window, click Close.
  4. Resolve the problem.
  5. On the Home tab, in the Export group, click Export Batch to manually restart the export process.
