Selecting Merge Sides

When Kofax Express is set to scan duplex pages (with on the Scan Settings tab), use the Merge Sides setting to combine the front and back sides to produce a single image. This setting is intended for small pages.

For example, if you set Merge Sides and scan a business card (2 x 3.5 inches), a single image (instead of two separate images) is produced. The single image includes both the front and the back of the business card on the same side.

  1. On the Scan Settings tab, in the Settings group, click Scanner.
  2. In the Sides group, select Both Sides.
  3. On the Scan Settings tab, in the Settings group, click VRS General.
  4. In the Automatic Corrections group, click Merge Sides.
  5. Adjust other settings or start scanning.
