Setting Up Auto Resolve

Use this procedure configure and select Auto Resolve to handle exceptions that occur while scanning is in progress.

Auto Resolve settings are saved with the job settings rather than the scan profile settings.

  1. On the Scan Settings tab, in the Settings group, click Scanner.
  2. On the Scan Settings tab, in the Auto Resolve group, click Auto Resolve.
  3. On the list, select the conditions for which you want the Auto Resolve window to appear while scanning is in progress.

    A check mark appears next to each condition that you select.
