Confirm a field

When the "Display field in Verification" option is enabled, the default option is for users to "Confirm" the field. Also by default, the "User may not change field value" option is not selected. This means that the user can compare the data with the image and if it is correct, press a single key to confirm the value. If the data does not match the form, the user can edit the data before verifying that the newly entered data and the document match.

You can configure a field so that a user confirms a field by following these steps:

  1. Open the Project Tree window if it is not already open.
  2. Expand the Project Tree and select the class that contains the field that you are configuring for verification.
  3. Optionally, view the class contents if they are not already displayed.

The hidden class contents are displayed.

  4. Open the Details window if it is not already open.
  5. Select the field you are configuring for verification.

The Field Properties are displayed in the Details window.

  6. In the User Interactive Modules group, select Display field in Verification.

The "User may not change field value" option is enabled, but leave this cleared.

  7. Optionally, configure other fields for verification.
  8. Run Test Verification to verify that your settings are correct.
