Every simple field and table field added to a class is automatically added to the default validation form. Because of this, the best practice is to wait until all fields are added to a class before customizing its validation form. If additional fields are added after you have customized a validation form, the next time you open that project, a message is displayed to notify you that some fields are not included on the custom validation form. The fields should be added manually.

For projects that have folders enabled and folder fields defined, an area on the validation form, whether it is the default form or a customized form displays the folder fields in a pane above the class validation form fields.
