Add a new user-defined column

If you require a table column not included in the global columns you can add a new user-defined column to the column pool by following these steps:

  1. On the Project tab, in the Configuration group, select Project Settings Project Settings icon.
  2. Click the Tables tab to view the table settings.
  3. In the Column Pool group, click Add New Column Add New Column icon.

    The Translations Window is displayed.

  4. Enter a name for the new user-defined column into the Default field.
  5. Optionally, select a Language from the list of available project languages and type the translation into the appropriate Translation text field. Repeat this step until you provide a translation for all project languages.
  6. Click OK.

    The new column appears at the bottom of the column pool.

  7. Optionally, click OK to close the Project Settings window.
  8. Save the changes to your project.
