The following sections describe the user interface elements of the Validation Form Layout tool. The default validation form can be customized for each class, and if multiple steps of Validation are configured, also for each step. If folders are enabled, you can define a validation form for each folder level. Since the Validation Form Layout interfaces for a class or a folder are very similar, they are both described here. Parts that are not available or that are different for folder levels, are marked accordingly.

The Validation Form Layout window has a main menu and toolbar for quick access to various features and commands. Below these, the interface is divided into four main areas:

• A fields pane
• A document viewer where a previously selected document page image is displayed
• A properties pane
• An InPlace Editor
