Set a default document subset

You can set one of the document subsets within a document set as the default document subset. This is especially useful for your training sets, because documents marked for online learning during Validation are added to the default document subset automatically.

A default document subset for test document sets is also quite useful, especially when dragging content between document sets. You can drop documents into your default document subset without having to pin open that document set.

You can set a document subset to be the default document subset by following these steps:

  1. Open the Documents window if it is not already open.
  2. Select the document set that contains the document subset to be made default.

The document set expands to show its document subsets.

  3. Select the desired document subset, right-click and then click Use as Default Document Subset.

The icon changes to the default document subset Default Document Subset icon icon to indicate this change.
