The RecoStar recognition engine has been deprecated in Kofax Transformation Modules. This means that any existing projects that use RecoStar profiles are updated to use OmniPage profiles automatically.

However, there are some languages that are supported by RecoStar that do not have an exact language equivalent in OmniPage. As a result, certain languages are mapped to a similar language with a similar character set in the corresponding OmniPage profile.

The following RecoStar languages are now mapped in the OmniPage recognition engine with the appropriate Cyrillic or Latin versions of the Serbian language.
