Delete a user-defined column

If a user-defined column is no longer required, the best practice is to remove the column from your project. This ensures that the column pool only contains actively used columns, making it easier to maintain.

  1. On the Project tab, in the Configuration group, select Project Settings Project Settings icon.
  2. Click the Tables tab to view the table settings.
  3. In the Column Pool group, select the user-defined column to delete.
  4. Click Delete Selected Column Delete Selected Column icon.
  5. When prompted, click Yes to confirm deletion.
  6. Optionally, click OK to close the Project Settings window.
  7. Save the changes to your project.
