Upgraded projects and document set conversion
If you open a project created in a Project Builder version earlier than 6.4.0, the preconfigured training sets are converted to a new format that uses document sets and document subsets. This is true for the Extraction Set and the Classification Set.
Note If there are duplicate names detected for any reason when creating the document subsets, the duplicate is appended with
_1to differentiate it from the other subset.
If you have online learning enabled and the online learning directory contains a New Samples database from an earlier Kofax Transformation Modules version you can convert this to the new document set format for New Samples.
Important As the conversion may be very time consuming it is best practice to import and train any documents from the
New Samples database prior to upgrading to the new version.
