Remove a zone from an anchor

If you no longer need the mapping between an anchor and a zone, remove the zone from the anchor.

  1. Open the locator properties.
  2. Open the reference document.

    The Document Viewer (zone mode) window is displayed.

  3. On the Zone Viewer toolbar, click Selection Mode Selection Mode icon.
  4. Double-click the zone to clear the map from an anchor or right-click the zone and click Properties.

    The Properties of Zone window is displayed.

  5. On the Properties of Zones window, select the Anchors tab.
  6. On the list of Available Anchors, select the anchor to remove from the zone and click Remove.

    The anchor is removed from the list of Selected Anchors.

  7. Click Close to save your settings and close the Properties of Zones window.
  8. Open a test document and click Test to test your settings.
  9. Optionally, click Close to close the locator properties window.
  10. Save the changes to your project.
