Float a window

If you want to work on a window outside of the main Project Builder window so you have more space, you can float it so it is a stand-alone window. This enables you to move the floated window to a second monitor.

You can float a window by following these steps:

  1. In the main Project Builder window, hide or close any windows that block the Ribbon.
  2. On the title bar of the window to be floated, select the Window Position icon.

    A secondary menu is displayed.

  3. On the menu, select Float.

The docked window is now floated as a stand-alone window that can be moved anywhere on your screen.

Note Even though the newly floated window behaves like a stand-alone window, it does not are displayed in the task bar. This means that you cannot minimize a floated window and it always stays active when the main Project Builder window is active.
