Translate Document Review custom menus and commands

If your project is configured for more than one language, you can provide custom menu and custom menu translations for each of the project languages in the Localization tab of the Project Settings window.

Important Both the menu itself and its menu commands need to be translated. For example, you need to translate the View menu as well as each of its menu commands such as Zoom In, Zoom Out, and so on.

You can translate your custom menus and commands by following these steps:

  1. On the Project tab, in the Configuration group, select Project Settings Project Settings icon.
  2. Click the Document Review tab to view the Document Review method settings.
  3. Click Shortcuts.
  4. Ensure that the Enable custom menus option is selected.
  5. Translate your custom menus by following these steps:
    1. Locate and select the custom menu in the Menu column to be translated.

      The row is highlighted orange.

    2. In the Command Menu and Commands group, click the Translations Translations icon button for a custom menu.

      The Translations window for the selected custom menu is displayed.

    3. For each language, type a translation for the selected custom menu label in the Translation column.
    4. Click OK to save your results and close the Translations window.
    5. Repeat these steps for the other custom menus.
  6. Translate your custom menu commands by following these steps:
    1. Locate and select the custom menu command in the Command column to be translated.

    2. In the Command Menu and Commands group, click the Translations Translations icon button to the right of Command:.

      The Translations window for the Menu labels is displayed.

    3. For each language, type a translation for the selected custom menu command label in the Translation column.
    4. Click OK to save your results and close the Transations window.
  7. Click OK to save your results and close the Customize Document Review Shortcut Keys and Hot Keys window.
  8. Optionally, click OK to close the Project Settings window.
  9. Save the changes to your project.
