Import an old Project Planner TDS model

If you have a project with a separation method created using Project Planner, you can import the separation model into the Transformation Designer. Only do this if you open a legacy project in the Transformation Designer. The legacy project is updated automatically to work with the newer version of the Transformation Designer. The separation model is not imported. If you do not have an old model, configure TDS within the Transformation Designer.

You can import an old Project Planner TDS model by following these steps:

  1. On the Project tab, in the Configuration group, select Project Settings Project Settings icon.
  2. Click the Document Separation tab to view the document separation settings.
  3. If not yet selected, select Trainable Document Separation (TDS).

    Several TDS-specific options are enabled.

  4. Select Compatibility mode.

The TDS-Model import path and Browse buttons are enabled.

  5. Optionally, select a value for How should the TDS-classification result be used for document classification.
  6. For the TDS-Model import path, click Browse.

    A window is displayed.

  7. Navigate to the TDS model to use, select it, and click OK.

The window closes and the TDS Model is imported.

  8. Optionally, click OK to close the Project Settings window.
  9. Save the changes to your project.
