If your project is protected, this affects the testing of some locators. Any locators that use sample images or training documents that are encrypted are disabled for testing.

The following locators are disabled when their training and sample data is encrypted. Each locator method has specific restrictions unique to that locator.

• Advanced Zone Locator

  • You cannot use a protected document as a sample

  • You cannot add anchors on protected samples

  • You cannot view the properties of anchors on protected samples

  • You cannot view the properties of zones on protected samples

  • The Zone Wizard is disabled

  • You cannot test your locator because the Test button is disabled

• A2iA Zone Locator

  • You cannot use a protected document as a sample

  • You cannot add zones on protected samples

  • You cannot use the A2iA Configuration button because it is disabled when the reference sample document is protected

  • You cannot test your locator because the Test button is disabled

• Table Locator

  • You cannot use a protected document as a sample

  • You cannot test your locator because the Test button is disabled

If your training documents are encrypted, or you have a mixture of encrypted and unencrypted documents in a document set, you cannot perform the following actions for your documents.

• Recognition

• Extraction

• Classify

• Process

• Extraction benchmark

In addition to the above actions, you cannot perform clustering on a training set that is fully encrypted. If you attempt to perform clustering on a document set with a mixture of encrypted and unencrypted documents, only the unencrypted documents are available for clustering.
