Export a project

If you want to make a copy of an existing project, you can store that database project as a file based project having a different name.

  1. Click on the File menu.
  2. Select Export Project.

    The Export Project window is displayed.

  3. Type a descriptive name into the Name field.
  4. In the Root folder box, specify the location where the project file is saved.

    You can either type a path and filename manually or browse to an existing location and type the filename.

    The Full name field is populated with the Root folder and the project Name.

  5. Click OK to create the new project.
