Update a project after document type changes in TotalAgility Designer

If a document type (or class) that is part of your project is renamed, deleted, or moved from one parent to another elsewhere in TotalAgility Designer, several steps need to be executed in the Transformation Designer. This ensures that the classification and extraction settings work with the modified class.

You can update your project to work with the modified document types by following these steps:

  1. Update the modified document types in Extraction Group projects that are not shared.
    1. In the Transformation Designer, open the Extraction Group project.
    2. Train the project for extraction.
    3. Save and then Release the Extraction Group project.
    4. In the Transformation Designer, open all Classification Groups that contain the modified Extraction Group.
    5. Train the project for classification.
    6. Save and then Release the Classification Group project.
  2. Update the modified document types in Extraction Group projects that are shared.
    1. In the Transformation Designer, open the Extraction Group.
    2. Train the project for classification.
    3. Train the project for extraction.
    4. Save and then Release the Extraction Group project.
