Add documents to a document subset using drag-and-drop

You can improve your classification or extraction results by adding additional documents using drag-and-drop. Because of this, you can either move and copy documents from other document sets in your project or add them from Windows Explorer using drag-and-drop.

Tip Instead of using drag-and-drop, you can add documents to the classification or Extraction Set by selecting Add to Training Set of Selected Class (Classification) or Add to Training Set of Selected Class (Extraction) from the shortcut menu. The selected document is added to the Classification Set or Extraction Set and the selected class in the project tree is automatically assigned. As a result, the document has a confirmed status and is used for training immediately.
  1. Open the Documents window if it is not already open.
  2. Open Windows Explorer and browse to the location where the documents are stored.
  3. Select one or more documents and drop them onto the target document subset.

The additional documents are added to the document subset, and the documents, document subset, and document set are marked with an asterisk (*) to indicate that changes need to be saved.

  4. Confirm any documents added to the classification or the Extraction Set.

If a document is not confirmed, it is not trained.
