Translate a table column name

If your project is localized for more than one language, you can provide translations for the column names in the column pool.

Important Before you can translate column names, at least one additional project language is required for your project.

You can rename the default column header captions and provide their translations for additional project languages that are defined on Localization tab by selecting Edit Translations.

You can translate your table column names by following these steps:

  1. On the Project tab, in the Configuration group, select Project Settings Project Settings icon.
  2. Click the Tables tab to view the table settings.
  3. In the Column Pool group, select the column you want translated.
  4. Click Edit Translations Translations.

    The Name window is displayed.

  5. Edit the column name as needed.
  6. Click OK to save your translations and close the Translations window.
  7. Optionally, click OK to close the Project Settings window.
  8. Save the changes to your project.
