Registering applications for Token Vault

Token Vault connects eCopy connectors with Microsoft 365, NetDocuments, iManage Work and Google Gmail resources as well as the eCopy email watchers and notification service with Microsoft 365 and Google Gmail resources. It gets authentication tokens for applications (such as eCopy ShareScan connectors) to access such resources.

To enable Token Vault to do so, you need to register an application for Token Vault

  • In the Microsoft Identity Platform (Azure Active Directory) admin center associated with your Microsoft 365 subscription, or
  • On the NetDocuments portal, or
  • In the iManage Work Control Center, or
  • On the Google Cloud Platform Console portal

depending on the connector, the email watcher or the Notification service you intend to use.

Registering applications for Token Vault is the first task in the configuration process that enables your eCopy ShareScan connectors, email watchers and notification service to use modern authentication.
