Associating a Service profile with a Connector profile

After creating a service profile, you need to associate it with a connector profile so that the service's functionality become available to the user at the device.

To associate service and connector profiles:

  1. In the Services tab, select and configure the Highlight and redact service profile (Configure Document Service (Highlight and Redact) window).
  2. Go to the Connectors tab and choose the connector you want the Highlight and redact profile to be associated with. Enable the Highlight and redact profile in the Settings window and click the Save Current Profile button to save your changes.
  3. Go to the Devices tab and click your device; pick the connector profile associated with Highlight and redact profile in the Configure Connectors for Device <device name> window.
  4. Click Save.

The service profile is now associated with the connector profile. When a user scans a document at the device using the connector with the associated document service profile, the document is scanned, processed by the document service and then passed to the connector workflow for processing.
