Authorize a Google provider in Token Vault

This topic describes the third configuration task in the process of setting up an SMTP via LDAP connector or the Notification service with Google's Gmail SMTP server to use modern authentication.

Perform this task on the Token Vault Available authorization providers page after you have successfully:

  • registered a Google application for Token Vault on the Google Cloud Platform Console portal.

  • registered a Google authorization provider in Token Vault.

To authorize a Google provider in Token Vault, do the following.

  1. Click Authorize for the selected Google authorization provider.

    Your browser will redirect you to the Google login page.

  2. Log in with your Google account and grant access to Token Vault.

    Your browser will direct you back to Token Vault, displaying the authorization success dialog box.

  3. Click Close on this dialog box to finish the authorization.
