Configure device enrollment

Configure device enrollment in Intune to be able to download to install MDM profile on the iPhone or iPad.

  1. Select Devices > Enroll devices > Apple enrollment > Apple MDM Push certificate.

    The Configure MDM Push Certirficate page opens.

  2. If you agree with the Terms & Conditions, select I agree to grant Microsoft permission to send data to Apple. If necessary, click on More information on Microsoft permission to read the conditions.
  3. Select Download your CSR and save the file.
  4. Select Create your MDM push Certificate. If necessary, click on More information on Apple MDM push certificate to read the conditions.
  5. Enter an Apple ID to be used to create the certificate. Enter the password when promted to log in to the Apple Push Certificates Portal.
  6. Click Create a Certificate.
  7. Select Browse... to upload the file downloaded in step 3, then click Upload.
  8. Download the certificate after the confirmation.
  9. Go back to the Configure MDM Push Certirficate page and browse to the certificate. Click Upload.
    The page refreshes and displays the certificate related information.
