Use Modern Authentication / OAuth2 and Token Vault

You can use the POP3 eMail component to capture emails from Microsoft 365 Online email service even if the service is set up to use Modern Authentication / OAuth2.

  1. Create a workflow with POP3 eMail as a capture component and Send to Folder as a route component.
  2. Register an application for Token Vault in the Azure Active Directory.
  3. Optionally, configure multi factor authentication in the Azure Active Directory.
  4. Configure Token Vault.
  5. Turn on the OAuth2 authentication method option in the POP3 eMail component.
  6. Configure the POP3 eMail component to use Token Vault.
  7. Let end users authorize the application.

Now all documents will be captured by the POP3 eMail component by connecting to the Microsoft 365 Online email service using modern, multi factor authentication for enhanced security.
