Physical device price list settings

Equitrac use the Primary price list to calculate the actual transaction cost, and offers the capability of Secondary price lists to calculate another cost that is stored with the transaction for reporting purposes, but does not factor into any balance calculations. Primary, or flat-rate price list capability is included with the Equitrac software. A flat-rate price list is assigned by default. Any print job generated to any monitor device uses the flat-rate price until you change the pricing options. The flat rate is set to 0.01 per page initially.

To configure a physical device pricing settings, do the following:

  1. In Devices, select Physical Devices and select a device from the list.
  2. Select Pricing in the Settings menu to assign general and departmental pricing to jobs output from this device’s print queue.
  3. Under General Pricing, select a Primary and Secondary (if configured for dual pricing) for any of the Print, Copy, Fax and Scan drop-down list. If no price lists were configured, then the default price is used.
  4. Under Departmental Pricing click +Add to add a department price for the physical device.
  5. When the Departmental Price List dialog opens, select a Type, Department and Price List from the drop-down lists. These options must be configured before Departmental Pricing can be added. See Departmental pricing for details.
  6. Click Save to save the physical device pricing.
