Configure the test data

Configure initialization data and activity data on the Test data tab.

You can provide the values to the initialization variables and configure how the manual or automatic activities are executed: the output data and who will execute them. You can define more than one configuration to be applied in order each time the activity becomes pending.

To provide activity data, do the following:

  1. On the test viewer, click the activity and then click Test data.

    The Activity configuration dialog box is displayed.

  2. Select Apply for all iterations to assign the data to all iterations.

    If you select Skip execution, you can only configure test data on an automatic node.

  3. To configure resources for the activity, do the following:
    1. Click Configure for Resource data.
    2. Search for the required resources and drag them to the Selected Resources box.
    3. Click OK.
  4. To configure variable data for the activity, do the following:
    1. Click Configure for Variable data.
    2. Select the variable and specify the value.
    3. Click OK.

    The test data is added and can be viewed on the Test data tab.
