Design a capture process

  1. Create extraction groups and classification groups.
  2. Create document forms for the document types in your extraction groups.
  3. Create a folder if using a folder variable for the process.
  4. Create a process with capture activities.
  5. Use the Folder or Document variable.
  6. Add the classification group.
  7. If you are starting the process using scan, create a Scan Create new job form. See Capture under Process properties.

    It is important to understand the locking behavior for documents and folders when designing your capture processes. Locks can occur at the document level or folder level. Refer to the "Folder and document locks" section in the Kofax TotalAgility Best Practices Guide.
