Step 3: Embed the process map to your map

Embed the Handle Import Events process map to your main map. This ensures that appropriate events are triggered for each import process. For example, if the source system does not receive the confirm/delete request due to errors, IMPORTDUPLICATE events is triggered to avoid duplicate import

  1. In your main process map, select the Start node and click the Activity icon .

    An activity node is added.

  2. Select the activity node and on the Type list, select Embedded process.
  3. On the Process list, select Handle Import Events.
  4. Rearrange the map so that the embedded map is the first node in your process map.

  5. Save and release the map.
