Add images to a form

You can add a single or multiple images to a form.

When you add multiple images, based on the order the images are added, a stack order is created. The first image has a stack order of one, the second image has a stack order of two and so on.

You can use this stack to build up complex graphic using images that have transparent areas and allow the image underneath to show through.

You can use the Change stack order action to change the stack order value or remove or move an element towards the bottom of the stack. See Add a change stack order action.

TotalAgility supports the following image types:

  • BMP

  • GIF

  • ICO

  • JPG

  • PNG

Add a single image

  1. In the properties panel of an image control, select the Configuration tab.
  2. Keep Multiple images clear.
  3. Either use a custom image or select an image from store.

    • To specify a custom image, enter the image name or the URL to the image in the Image box.

      TotalAgility provides custom images. These images are available at the following location of your installed folder:

      <Installation location>\Kofax\TotalAgility\Agility.Server.Web\Forms\Images

      In on-premise TotalAgility, if you wish to use images other than those provided by TotalAgility, you must place your images in the Images folder.

    • To use an image from the store, select Load image from store and select the image on the Image list. The preview of the image is displayed in the Image control.

  4. In the Alternate text box, enter text relevant to the image for accessibility to screen readers.

    Specifying alternate text helps users understand the purpose behind the control. For example, a form to register for a seminar might require the user to enter information and click an image or button to submit the information. Providing alternate text, "Click the Submit button to submit your information" for the image helps understand the purpose of the Submit button.

  5. Save the form.

Add multiple images

  1. In the properties panel of an image control, select the Configuration tab.
  2. Select Multiple images.
  3. Click .
  4. Either use a custom image or select an image from store, in the same way as is done to select a single image.
  5. Click Preview image to preview the image.
  6. Specify the alternate text.
  7. Click Add.
  8. Add more images as needed.
