Quick Capture

Quick Capture is a simplified version of the TotalAgility Process Designer and Transformation Designer that is citizen developer friendly and is designed to enable non-technical users the ability to create a capture solution: upload and train sample documents, extract data and design the workflow that should be used to process these.

You can control the capture solutions that should be available for use within Quick Capture and restrict users from making use of all capture solutions available in TotalAgility.

You can define the list of workflow solutions that can be used in Quick Capture, in the System settings.

Navigate to System > System settings > Apps > Quick Capture.

The Quick Capture dialog box is displayed.

Add a workflow to Quick Capture

You can add processes, business rules and custom services that can be used within the corresponding Quick Capture solution.
  1. In the Quick Capture dialog box, click for Workflow solutions available to Quick Capture.
  2. On the Workflow list, select a process, business rule or custom service and click Add.
  3. Follow step 3 to add more items as needed.
  4. Click Save.

Edit a workflow for Quick Capture

You can edit the solution available to Quick Capture, that is, select a different process, business rule or custom service.

  1. In the Quick Capture dialog box, select the capture solution to modify and click on the header bar.

    The capture solution list appears.

  2. Select a different process, business rule or custom service as needed and click OK.
  3. Click Save.

Delete a workflow from Quick Capture

In the Quick Capture dialog box, select the workflow to delete and click on the header bar.

On confirmation, the workflow is deleted.
